Insurance

We have fully comprehensive cover which includes:

• Public liability upto £1 million
• Vehicles, horse boxes and caravans
• Goods in transit £20,000 with the option to increase this if necessary
• insured to drive customers vehicles upto the value of £26,000 however vehicles must be road worthy and road legal

Towing general

Our requirements for towing your trailers or caravans

• 50mm socket fitting or towing eye+pin
• Roadworthy and legal condition
• good tyres side wall and tread (spare could be helpful)
• if fitted with brakes they should be working if over 750kg
• trailers, cars and caravans free rolling (not seized brakes or bearings)
• must have roadworthy chassis

Customers could incure a fee if the above specifications are not met and a problem arises as a result, if in any doubt please inform us before hand as our own large top of the range purpose built low loading trailer is available to carry anything that dosen't meet these standards upto 2.7 tonnes, 2.3 metres wide.

Access

Clear access is required due to the size of trailer and vehicle at BOTH points of journey. If there are any difficulties eg. narrow lanes, tight B roads, unpaved roads, off road, tight bends or bridges please inform us before hand.

Checklists

A visual external inspection will be done of goods in transit along with a full checklist with photographic evidence of any damage or defects. A signature will be required on change over to support this before any movement of vehicle for yours and our peace of mind.

Caravan security

It will be your responsability to switch off gas and internal electric and to secure caravans as I cannot insure lost, stolen or damaged items from inside, however goods in transit will not be left unattended.

If collected from site, the key will need to be put in a signed sealed envelope by a site official, unless agreed otherwise.

Cancellations

Cancellations are accepted but will be charged at 3% plus expences we may occour ie. specialist trailer rentals, additional insurance cover premiums.
